Arizer Solo II
On the 27th of March I visited InfiniteQuestion7901 at his home in Gatineau.
We exchanged weed samples and other dope nonsense …
He also gave me a defective Arizer AirMax and a Solo II
On the Arizer Solo II ...IQ tore the charging cable slightly ☹️
When one tries to use charger, this Solo II gives an Error 2
Based on the forums, that seems to mean a battery issue
Unfortunately I am unable to even open the bottom plate = tiny n tight screws…
When I tried MikeTai on this one, I did NOT like the taste and got lotsa vapour man !!!
Am trying to figure out what an average session on the Solo II is - for me !!
Put the setting to 5 minutes and it was too long
Especially when I can get 5-6 more puffs after going to OFF
Based on readings … people can do 2 x 15 min sessions
Or 3 x 10 minute sessions (like IQ)
Both are 30 minutes
Mine are < five

In any case, Arizer has been asked about what we can do about this issue !?!
When the battery gets lower, will try to recharge again … and see ??

My trial sessions with both Arizers were NOT giving me the vapour I like …
Some reviews say BOTH devices are great, butt NOT amazing in any category …
For example, good vapour output, butt not extra-ordinary !!
…and I love vapour …
So, I read up on the subject and one suggestion was to let the “herb” dry out b4 loading …
As I am an extremist … I unloaded the MT/MikeTai from the II last night lol
Then this morning, Lee, the TableTopBong guy suggested glass beads in the glass pipe
So, with the temp set at 190°C and two glass beads inside, tested the Solo II with MT/MikeTai loaded
Once it reached temp, I waited 30 seconds before taking a 20 second slow draw…
The first draw put humidity in the stem, butt had not much vapour lol
The next draws gave much more increasing amounts of vapour.
After about 10 of these 20 second hits, I turned the device OFF…
The taste was “in your face” and for me was like “an old lemon” / lemon, butt off lol
The buzz was VERY nice and for me was a pure sativa at first with some body stuff later
…tingling, headband/pressure in the head, etc … Good Weed man
Obviously a 2nd (and/or more sessions) are required to confirm the final eval ...
So, in the afternoon I ran this setup through a second run ...
In science one wants reproducible outcome and that is what we got !!
Taste was somewhat diminished (and welcome for this strain 😞) ,
....butt was expected with the 2nd run lol
Based on the look of the AVB/AlreadyVapedBud, I presume three(3) such sessions max / load.
As the battery power was now lowered, I tried plugging the Solo II in & it is charging ...
...at 73% and rising ... when I went back to check ... percentages were displaying erratically
...and I unplugged the Solo before we even go to the Error 2
Arizer is saying to start with a charger change and then gave me some discount prices on devices ..
...I asked what is the BEST price on the charger ??
On this day I also received the AirMax 26650 battery charger that I ordered ...
It is made in China, with no instructions and a cheap spring that will break.
Battery measured at 3.64V and the red light is on ...
Full charge is supposedly 4.2V
as per google lol
At this point I am thinking the Solo II will stay home and I am okay with charging to 74%
The AirMax will be the travelling roadie with a 3 hour charge on the battery 🎯
Q) Can either of these Arizer products replace my DynaVaps or other vapes ?
For me, they are all different tools ... and the Arizers require more time = 4 min vs 2
Arizers were definitely 1000 times better received than the VapMan Clique !!!
On April 1st (no fool's joke ...) I tried the same setup on the AirMax and ...
...it did NOT produce as much vapour and got me just as stoned as the II
My next experiment is with my daily weed (Doja LimeMAC) = first in the II
...for now ... some is drying out in my measuring bowl lol
btw today I seemed to enjoy my hit of the daily LimeMac from the VMC/VapmanClique
...was trying to empty the bowl to put it away - if next hit is good, it stays ON the desk !!
I went 12 seconds past the clique in order to try and produce as much vapour as possible !!
02APR2025 And So ... I placed the dried daily weighed < 0.2g LimeMAC into the Solo II,
Started it with the temp set to 190 and waited 30 seconds after 190 was reached ...
Again, the first 20 second puff just drew humidity into the glass tube
After that I got six twenty second puffs with increasing amounts of vapour...
As I was getting "too stoned" already, I turned the device OFF
...and got another 4-5 puffs with decent vapour !!! TOO STONED !!
Next time I will take ONLY 4 puffs b4 turning it OFF !!!
...when I plugged Solo in ... it showed the battery at 64% = 10% lost over this session
This means ... if this was my daily tool with 3 sessions per day, battery is good 2 days
The taste matched what I think LimeMAC tastes like = yummy 🎯
btw it is my understanding that all Arizer products are Made in China = Arizer is just an importer
...as a Canadian it is difficult to support that and now we cannot even support Made in USA !!!
So, I found something to make a cap on an Arizer glass tube.
This is for the transportation of a loaded gun 🔫

08APR2025 I hit the AirMax after a DAY OFF the "cannabus"
Noticed the glass stem was dirty above the "bowl" towards mouth
I am guessing "the weed" may have to be ground a little more coarse ??
As yet, I have not immersed a glass tube into a baggie with ISO either ...
I do NOT really like how the tube fits or goes into my mouth
Next time I will be trying out the DVM7 mouthpiece - displayed here with my AirMax

CO$T: Now that the Solo III is out, Solo IIs are under $200 = 10/10
Components: Glass tubing, heat does not touch the weed and solid = 9/10
Took one point off cuz I don't like the upside down load nor the glass as mouthpiece
...and perhaps the glass needs protection = in case dropped ?
Look n Feel: It feels solid in the hand and a little large for on the go = 9/10
Was gonna give an 8/10, but the digital display is kinda cool
Portability: As mentioned, the device is a little large and a glass tube is fragile ...
One CANNOT carry the device AIO/All In One and carrying tube loaded :-( = 7/10
Was gonna give a 6/10, but the VapManClique got 7, so ...
Outside: I did NOT try the II outside, but I imagine it is the same as the AirMax,
which I did try outside and it CANNOT be beat ... put it together, turn it on + HEAT = 10/10
Durability: Hmmm. my used Solo II came with a defective charging cable and charging stops at 78%
Also, the tube is glass = many people break them, gonna be generous = 7/10
Capacity: You can pack it up to about 0.2g (people want to put even MORE) = 10/10
Taste n Vapour: Everyone says the taste is amazing and I find it okay.
Feel like I hafta push the HEAT n WAIT to get great vapour = 8/10
This one has the potential of gaining a point !!
AND it just did !!! 09APR2025 fresh LimeMAC was amazing => 9/10
Ease of Use: Personally I do NOT like the upside down load of the tube.
Find it stupid that you hafta hold two buttons to make it go on ... = 8/10
Cleaning & Other: Do NOT like a proprietary charging cable - that ripped
NOT a fan of vapes that need cleaning after every bowl ...
The bowl itself is easy to clean, but the long tube is NOT = hafta soak it in ISO = 7/10
WAIT a second ... I have NOT mentioned that session takes about twice as long as a DVM = 6/10
Final Score = 10 + 9 + 9 + 7 +10 + 7 +10 + 8 + 8 + 6 = 84/100
In the template I state that a vape must attain 80% for me to recommend it ...
and I do recommend this vape - especially at under $200
realizing it is a bit LARGE, glass breakable tube and proprietary charge cable
Guess I could give this company a plus one as they are in Kitchener, Ontario = 85/100 !!!
Beware: still made in China tho !!
I bumped the taste up a notch and thus the final score for me is 8.6/10 !!
b.t.w. the Solo II heats up MUCH faster than the AirMax ...
AirMax was at 60 going to 200, started the II and after it hit 190
still took about another 20 seconds b4 the 200 degrees was reached !!!
However, the AirMAX is amazingly portable - check my case ... ...and yes, in case you did not know, the display flips 4 da bong
I tried to remove the bottom to change battery, butt plug was stuck lol / pun intended
As, the battery still charges to over 70%, I am good with it !!
As shown on the cover page of the above video ...
I seem to prefer 200°C as the default temp ... and I wait one minute after 200 is reached
The first twenty(20) second(2nd) puff has little vapour and lotsa taste ...
The next two puffs of the same duration yield more vapour and less taste
However, I do remove black bud from the top/bottom of the glass stem after a session
...and it seems "easier" to clean ...
As you may or may not know ... this is strain & terpene dependent
For example ... pinene and limonene are my favourite terps = sativa guy
Pinene evaporates at about 155 and limonene at around 177 degrees C
Earlier this year I received some BC HG/Homegrown = PE/PineappleExpress x Timewreck
...and in particular (Texada) Timewreck where Texada and TW/TimeWreck are from BC
and as such, will NOT be discussed here ...
Linalool is supposed 2B relaxing and thus interests me LESS !!
Then I go to 177 which should work for limonene and 199 sometimes
When I am done a sesh, my mouth is exploding with flavour and my head is fucked
NOT only that, butt can take 3 or 4 sessions like that lol from one 0.1g load !!
This device is currently ON SALE for $120 CDN !!
I was waiting one minute after the desired temperature was reached.
When that temp is 200°C ... there is NO need ta wait ...
The vapour is practically INSTANT !!
...and then the Solo stopped working #$%^&*()
...and charged battery up to about 60%
Arizer wants over $30 for a replacement + shipping
Arizer wrote that I could send the SoloII in, butt I pay postage ...
"If they cannot fix it ... they will replace it ..."
As far as I was concerned ... NO-ONE can fix it !!
Sent the Solo II to Arizer, butt NOT the broken cord !!
That cost me just under $40 via Purolator and I got a new Solo II MAX !!
However, these are the same features in the MAX that he has ...
They are my daily and weekend drivers ...
There is NO irritation on the throat man !!
