Butane

It is now March 2025, seven years cannabis legalization, and I NEVER thought that I would be writing a discussion on the subject of butane lighters/torches !! Actually, I have only been using the DynaVap M's since about April 2021 with the GWN Vape 420 sale 😎 That's less than 5 years ...

Around that time, I also purchased my Harmony 3-flame butane lighter via Amazon ...

                             

Well, this month I started having premonitions about my Harmony lighter dying ..
It had already developed issues with the flame closest to me ...
After the last refill of butane and working on the cement floor at Oma's ...
The lighter started to act up - sometimes needed six flicks
Just like the lighter I returned to the SQDC & got an exchange (more on that later)

So, I ordered these two lighters for about $25 with next day delivery...
Yes, made in China and NOT USA lol  (as if I give a shit :-)

I will NOT complain about the over-packaging
cuz once again, I don't give a shit ...

    Basically I got two lighters that look like this:

 

Took the pic with the DVM to show how I rest it on the lighter ...
Once the butane was loaded and the flame height was adjusted ...
I rest the DVM on the lid while the DVM tit heats up 

Not so sure I like the idea that the lid and flame start with a flick
...other butane lighters I have - you open lid manually first and then light the flame
    ...with the UppAllAnt you can open just the lid by gently pressing the ignition button

This lighter is a little bulkier than my Harmony 
...and thus also has a larger capacity for butane 

While playing with the new UpAllAnt lighter I noticed something

 

The NEW lighter is on the left and the Harmony on the right ...
I usually light the butane with my right hand and spin the DVM with my left...
On the Harmony this means the intense heat is nearer the top of the cap = clicks earlier.
With the new Uppallant/UAA lighter the intense heat will be near the bottom = hotter.

This means I either need to change hands logistically OR ...
        I need to make sure eight seconds past the clique is NOT too much
                ...that last check needs to be performed ... in any case lol

 The irony in that is ... after that phrase was typed,  I went & combusted a DVM load with the UAA !!
        ...was done right handed with ate sex/eight secs...  past the clique lol

Even more irony ... I tried switching hands and burnt my left hand by touching HOT tit %^&*

(Last two comments had sex and tit in them = I must be dry lol)

Arizer Solo II

  On the 27th of March I visited InfiniteQuestion7901 at his home in Gatineau. We exchanged weed samples and other dope nonsense … He also gave me a defective Arizer AirMax and a Solo II   On the Arizer Solo II ...IQ tore the charging cable slightly ☹️   When one tries to use charger, this Solo II gives an Error 2 Based on the forums, that seems to mean a battery issue Unfortunately I am unable to even open the bottom plate = tiny n tight screws… When I tried MikeTai on this one, I did NOT like the taste and got lotsa vapour man !!! Am trying to figure out what an average session on the Solo II is - for me !! Put the setting to 5 minutes and it was too long Especially when I can get 5-6 more puffs after going to OFF Based on readings … people can do 2 x 15 min sessions Or 3 x 10 minute sessions (like IQ) Both are 30 minutes Mine are < five 6 sessions From 1 Load ? For those of you for whom this is a new term/shortform ...      AVB = Already Vaped Bud   Obviously ... this is what comes out of your herb vape ... after you have "consumed" your herb to completion Clique the Pic 😛               ...... Those are the colours of the rainbow ... IF one intends to consume the AVB ... medium roast is advised Iffen/when you combust by accident please toss your AVB 😳 Once you have accumulated some AVB, now what does one do with it ? The simplest thing to do = EAT IT straight up :-) I have put some on a teaspoon with salt and had PB sandwiches For many people this looks "gross" and some may not like the taste ... ...you can remove some taste from AVB with water treatment (more on that later) How much AVB to eat straight up ??
