Cannabis Rating Template

Before starting, I MUST mention that cannabis is VERY personal ...
Ironically, that applies to ALL aspects ... cost, smell, taste, buzz, tools, etc...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, we are in Canada, North America where recreational cannabis has been legal since Oct 2018.
NOT sure when medical cannabis was "accepted".
I have been purchasing and documenting SQDC cannabis since then ...
(SQDC = Sociétié Québecoise du Cannabis = yes, government run)

In the beginning there was NOT much cannabis at the SQDC in 3.5g format
(some people call that size an eighth and some even call it half a quarter !!)



 

 

 

 

and NOW, let's get back to the subject at hand which is
Evaluating 3.5g Purchases from the SQDC (or elsewhere)

COST: +2 when        ≤ $20.00
             +1 when still ≤ $25
              -1 when        ≥ $35.00
              -2 when still ≥ $40

SMELL: x/10 which can obviously be quite personal ...
                        I like to start with the concept = "How DANK is the weed?
              For me DANK means strong, overpowering smell; whatever it is ...
              Then from there I go up or down depending on personal like or dislike.
              I have NOT failed ANY purchases in this category ... yet ...
              ...sometimes I look at the trichomes listed or found when evaluating smell

Look n Feel: x/10 some call this "bag appeal" 


 








We all have an idea what we think good weed should look like
...and how fluffy/dense and sticky we would like the buds
...size is not supposed to matter, butt somehow does 🙃

Sometimes we even look at trichomes before smoking or vaping 








NOTE; Up until now we have NOT consumed the product,
            BUTT should have a good idea how we feel about it already !!

Taste n Smoke: x/10 as we all know, taste is VERY personal, as is vapour and tool used
                                   apparently many are still consuming with a jay or blunt ...
            I will smoke the occasional 0.3g jay on the weak end/weekend
            However, my taste and vapour evaluation is done with a 2021 DynaVapM/DVM
            ...since I received a Solo II, I now also vape near the boiling points of the terpenes
            ...for example I vaped XoPro TimeWreck at 165°C because pinene was listed first
            ...this actually boosted the score for TimeWreck taste UP a notch ...
            Some people ask," Does the taste match the smell?" and is worth considering

Buzz: x/10*2 = this is weighted as the buzz is VERY important to me
                    Yeah, yeah ... I know ... buzz is extremely personal too ...
            So, how does one evaluate buzz fairly and objectively ? hmmm, let me smoke on that 🔥
            My first measure of buzz is from the taste/smoke test with the DVM
            ...this includes first impressions, is it creeping ? and how long does bzzz  last
            I expect a buzz to last at least one hour and whether or not it is my type of buzz is irrelevant to me
            Both Clem & Co ApricotCream&Cheese and Orchid cbdRuntz are 1:1 (THC:CBD) options
            ...that got 9/10 on the buzz !! from me

Other: + or - points ...like by now terpenes should be listed

                        ...I divide by 5 to give me a total out of 10

I have suggested that 10% of the final note on the packaging is a bit "severe"

Arizer Solo II

  On the 27th of March I visited InfiniteQuestion7901 at his home in Gatineau. We exchanged weed samples and other dope nonsense … He also gave me a defective Arizer AirMax and a Solo II   On the Arizer Solo II ...IQ tore the charging cable slightly ☹️   When one tries to use charger, this Solo II gives an Error 2 Based on the forums, that seems to mean a battery issue Unfortunately I am unable to even open the bottom plate = tiny n tight screws… When I tried MikeTai on this one, I did NOT like the taste and got lotsa vapour man !!! Am trying to figure out what an average session on the Solo II is - for me !! Put the setting to 5 minutes and it was too long Especially when I can get 5-6 more puffs after going to OFF Based on readings … people can do 2 x 15 min sessions Or 3 x 10 minute sessions (like IQ) Both are 30 minutes Mine are < five 6 sessions From 1 Load ? For those of you for whom this is a new term/shortform ...      AVB = Already Vaped Bud   Obviously ... this is what comes out of your herb vape ... after you have "consumed" your herb to completion Clique the Pic 😛               ...... Those are the colours of the rainbow ... IF one intends to consume the AVB ... medium roast is advised Iffen/when you combust by accident please toss your AVB 😳 Once you have accumulated some AVB, now what does one do with it ? The simplest thing to do = EAT IT straight up :-) I have put some on a teaspoon with salt and had PB sandwiches For many people this looks "gross" and some may not like the taste ... ...you can remove some taste from AVB with water treatment (more on that later) How much AVB to eat straight up ??
