I like to call this one Mike Thai(son) …
Seems it has NOTHING to do with THAI nor Mike Tyson 🙂

Here we are in March 2025 and I still have too much weed (30g)
and only consuming at the low, low rate of 3g per month - last month …

 

 

On the reddit sqdc subgroup there were explosions about Mike Tai …

This is the third time I hear of this strain and I got none on the first two !!

So I asked where people got it and after my windsurf session FAILED …

I went on the Mike Tai strain hunt !!

 It’s supposed to be (MauiWowie x TuttiFrutti)/MaiTai  x MikeLarry (Gelato #45 x LarryOG) …

 

First bag was 3.52g and the second bag was 3.55g = 7.07g 🙂

Not quite sure WHY I purchased 2 bags, butt here goes … now have about 38g of weed

These were 28.3% THC and supposedly 2.9% terpenes - limonene, caryophyllene & myrcene
With 3% terpenes and limonene first, I was expecting DANK and it was okay, butt …8.5 is good

Everyone says fruity flavours like a MaiTai or candy - I don’t get that (thank the gods lol)

The bag appeal was from large, colourful buds. They were dense and only a little sticky.
Bit too fluffy to score more than nine here

The buzz was good too, but again was expecting MORE ..
…like the 2nd hit was NOT as amazing as the first … hence the 8.5/10 stayed
..after the 3rd hit … I was ready to sleep - had big supper b4, butt still !!! lol

I like what one reviewer said → “it’s like merging the old and new cultivars”

 

 

From JungleBoys in 2021 - in the video it looks a LOT greener and NO purple

They also call this strain GelatoMikeTai and he says indica dominant !!

Talks about the GSC and OG inside and his was pheno #24

On the 2nd of March, I had a hit in the p.m. off the 2021M and the wife saw it in my eyes !!

And it looks sure dense man - like a solid planet

Feels like I am getting closer to what the others are doing, but still feels like focus stacking is required

I think the main trick is to focus on the part closest to you first
Then focus back slowly and focus stack !!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention my 3.5s were packed on Valentine's Day
and purchased on the 28th = just 2 weeks later = FRESH FRESH !!
